Extensive Care Retreats
The Extensive Care Retreats, known as the Come Away with Me retreats, are designed to help participants encounter the healing power of the living Christ. Each retreat is limited to 16 participants and lasts for 7 days. The retreats focus on Formational Prayer and deep inner healing. Each participant receives specialized attention in formational care that positions them for deep personal healing. The retreat will be led by a team of highly gifted and professionally trained caregivers who help the participants work through the wounds that compromise life and ministry. Each participant is assigned one of the trained caregivers who will meet with them each day during the retreat for a formational prayer session. The caregivers work as a team with the participants and are available to all the participants, although each participant meets with one specific caregiver for their formational prayer session for one hour each afternoon during the retreat.
The cost to attend a retreat is $1,795 per person. This includes:
- 7 full days of care
- 2 large group worship & teaching sessions each day
- 1 small group process session each day
- 1 individual formational prayer session each day
- Food (21 meals)
- Overnight accommodations in a double occupancy room with private bath
- Retreat notebook
- Pre-retreat workbook/journal
- Post-retreat workbook/journal
The retreats are held at the Fleming Falls Retreat Center/Camp Mowana near Ashland, Ohio. (Ashland is about half way between Cleveland & Columbus Ohio, just off I-71.) The facility is handicapped accessible and located in a scenic setting, which is quiet and peaceful.
Space is strictly limited to 16 participants. A completed registration form and a $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot at a retreat. A minimum number of participants must be registered and attending for a retreat to be held. Otherwise it will be canceled. If a retreat is cancelled, deposits will be transferred to another retreat. Please note, however, that of all the retreats will have scheduled since Fall 2007, we have NEVER canceled a
retreat yet.
